How does the Stockton Tennis Club promote tennis in Stockton?
There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Stockton Tennis Club. Through your membership fees and participation in the annual tournaments and events, the Stoctkon Tennis Club is able to provide the following:
- Organized League Play - Both USTA sanctioned and unsanctioned events
- STC Tournament fees are less for STC members - $5 more for non-members
- Refreshments and Lunch offered during most STC Tournaments
- First tournament of the year (Membership Tournament) free to members, up to two events
- Promotes adult and junior tennis through charitable contributions
- Tournament prize money
- Scholarships, including John Whittock Jr. and Thomas Mann Awards
- Oak Park Jr. Tennis Foundation
- Offer free play at Oak Park for Juniors and STC Lifetime Members
- USTA Organization Membership with USTA benefits including magazines, offers, etc
- Assists Oak Park Tennis Center in minor repairs, remodeling and maintenance
- Helps pay for daily morning coffee at the Oak Park Tennis Center
- Provides and pays for DIRECTV service in Oak Park Lounge
